Health in Hospitality is founded by a real estate attorney, Ashley Duell, Esq., and a practicing Urologist, Felix Chen, MD, who focuses on advanced urologic care. Dr. Chen has spent time abroad from Zambia, Africa to Inner Mongolia both learning and teaching surgical techniques and providing urology healthcare to locals.
Health in Hospitality’s goal is to create an experience for Locum Tenens, an organization that places physicians in temporary positions at hospitals with a physician shortage, physicians that would alleviate obstacles that come with residing in a new city, allowing them to focus on patient care while developing a sense of community in their “home away from home.” By doing so, we believe we can turn these temporary hospital vacancies to permanent positions for the betterment of patients and the community.
Our Mission
Health in Hospitality aims to create positive experience for traveling healthcare professionals so that they will consider applying for a permanent position in the area, creating higher quality and easier access to healthcare for all. Our hope is that no hospital will have a shortage in healthcare professionals.
